The wait is over. GloRilla has finally responded to months of public family drama, and she did it the only way she knows how: on the mic. On the newly released track “GOMF” featuring Latto, the Memphis rapper fires direct shots at her estranged older sister, Victoria Woods, better known to the internet as BroRilla.
The song, which dropped Friday, samples Soulja Boy’s 2007 classic “Yahhh!”. But while the beat is nostalgic, the message is cutting and current.
On the track, GloRilla doesn’t dance around the subject. She addresses her sister’s repeated public allegations, from claims of financial abandonment to accusations that Glo abandoned their family.
“Get you a hustle and get that p*ssy out your face, ho,” Glo raps. “You coulda been anything, it’s a million ways to get paid, ho. But you ain’t s**t but a freaky stud that’s laced, ho.”
The tension between the sisters has been boiling for months. In February, Woods accused GloRilla of leaving the family to struggle despite her success. She claimed their mother still works at FedEx and that she was so desperate she nearly “ate a roach”.
GloRilla later fired back with a stunning allegation: that Woods once pulled a gun on her when she was just 15 years old. Court records reportedly confirmed the 2015 incident, in which Glo called her mother to say her sister was “making threats to harm her with a gun”.
The drama even pulled in Boosie Badazz, who urged the sisters to reconcile but also noted that fans often overestimate how much money artists actually have .
“GOMF” serves as GloRilla’s definitive statement on the feud. By putting the diss in a high-profile collaboration with Latto, who is currently pregnant and preparing to release her album Big Mama, Glo ensures the message reaches the maximum audience.
She is done explaining. She is done defending. She is simply rapping.
