The “Pimp My Ride” host is facing a financial reckoning. According to court documents obtained from his ongoing divorce proceedings, rapper and actor Xzibit has laid bare his finances, and the numbers tell a complicated story. While he pulls in a monthly income of $66,547, his Xzibit tax debt has ballooned to over $1.3 million.

The numbers are staggering. Xzibit owes approximately $400,000 in back taxes to the State of California and another $900,000 to the IRS, bringing his total tax burden to $1.3 million. But that’s just the beginning. The rapper also disclosed personal debts exceeding $1.4 million and business-related debts totaling roughly $2 million.

His monthly income of $66,547 comes primarily from touring and album promotion in 2025, revenue streams he admits are unlikely to continue at the same level in the future. After accounting for monthly expenses of around $23,566, the margin for tackling his mounting liabilities is razor-thin.

The financial disclosure comes amid a contentious divorce from estranged wife Krista Joiner. The couple married in November 2014 and separated in 2021. They share a son, Gatlyn, born in 2010.

Xzibit is already paying $5,145 per month in child support. But Joiner has reportedly requested significantly more,  upwards of $20,000 to $30,000 monthly in spousal support to maintain the lifestyle she became accustomed to during the marriage.

The rapper is pushing back. He argues that Joiner earns approximately $12,843 per month on her own, more than enough to support herself post-divorce. He also notes that his own income is unstable and not guaranteed to continue.

Beyond the cash, there are assets. Xzibit is fighting to keep his 1957 Chevy Bel Air. He’s fine with Joiner keeping her 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The couple is headed to trial later this month, where a judge will decide whether spousal support continues and if so, how much.

For a man who once hosted one of MTV’s biggest shows, the fall has been steep. But Xzibit isn’t hiding from the numbers. He’s putting them all on the table.
