The Thompson twins have officially cemented their names in the history books, becoming the first pair of brothers in NBA history to each secure contracts worth at least $100 million.
Following their back-to-back selections in the 2023 NBA Draft with Amen going No. 4 to Houston and Ausar going No. 5 to Detroit both players have delivered massive breakout performances.
Ausar Thompson: The Detroit Pistons forward agreed to a five-year, $155 million rookie-scale contract extension following a standout defensive season where he earned First Team All-Defense honors and finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting.
Amen Thompson: The Houston Rockets guard signed a five-year, $208 million extension earlier in the month, coming off a stellar season where he averaged 18.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.
With a combined total of $363 million across their two new deals, the brothers continue to prove why they are foundational cornerstones for their respective franchises.
