Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has called for “great punishment” for racist abusers after he was recently subjected to vile abuse.
The Ghanaian international stressed that racism in football must not be tolerated and urged football authorities and social media platforms to take stronger action against offenders.
His comments come as campaigns to stamp out racism in football continue, with players and fans demanding tougher sanctions to protect the game.
