During her testimony, Springfield aimed to dismantle Grant’s character, telling the jury about her experience living with Grant and King Von in their Atlanta home.
Attacking Credibility: Springfield called Grant a “thief and a liar” during her time on the stand.
Disputing the Narrative: She noted that she never saw Lil Durk at Von’s memorial, directly challenging statements made by Grant during his time as a key cooperating witness for the government.
Springfield’s testimony was part of a final push by Durk’s legal team to undermine the government’s witnesses including former OTF associates who entered plea deals before resting their defense. With the defense wrapping up its presentation without Durk taking the stand, closing arguments in the federal trial are set to begin following the Labor Day weekend.
