After years of public tension, lawsuits, and silence following Lindsey Buckingham’s high-profile departure from Fleetwood Mac in 2018, the iconic musical duo has officially reconnected. Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham revealed that he and his former bandmate and ex-partner, Stevie Nicks, are now back on speaking terms.
Speaking on their changing relationship dynamic, Buckingham shared how collaborating on Apple TV+’s definitive Fleetwood Mac documentary served as the catalyst for their reunion. Addressing the Lindsey Buckingham Stevie Nicks reconciliation, he explained that reflecting on their shared history allowed both artists to move past lingering bitterness.
“Fleetwood Mac has been working on a documentary. I think the process of making that has been a very circular healing process for all of us… Stevie and I are talking all the time now.”
With the upcoming documentary directed by Frank Marshall examining the band’s tumultuous decades, the process has fostered a long-overdue thaw between rock’s most famous former couple.
