A Milli Years Late! Lil Wayne Leaves New Hampshire Fans Fuming After Two-Hour Delay

Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Lil Wayne has drawn sharp criticism from concertgoers after a severely delayed performance in New England. The rapper, who is currently traveling across the country for his summer tour dates, left thousands of paying supporters waiting in suspense on Friday night, July 3, 2026, before finally taking the stage.

The high-stakes event, hosted at the outdoor BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire, was originally scheduled to treat fans to the headline act starting around 9:00 PM ET. However, as the evening chill rolled in, the stage remained entirely empty. According to numerous frustrated eyewitnesses sharing updates across digital networks, Weezy F. Baby did not actually step out to perform until 11:00 PM ET—marking a definitive two-hour delay.

To make matters worse for the exhausted crowd, the set itself was heavily condensed. Rather than delivering a full-length production, Lil Wayne reportedly breezed through just one hour of material before officially bailing at midnight due to venue curfew restrictions.

The massive delay in the Granite State represents a highly concerning trend for the artist’s current logistics team, unfolding as the latest chapter in high-profile celebrity concert drama. Just days prior, on Tuesday, June 30, Lil Wayne completely ghosted the official kickoff of his 20 Years of Carter Classics Tour at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor. During that incident, opening act 2 Chainz performed his scheduled slot, but the headliner failed to show up at all, forcing organizers to cancel the gig without explanation.

While the artist eventually issued a generic public apology for the Maine ghosting, he has provided zero operational explanations regarding his extreme tardiness in New Hampshire. In fact, his official media handles shared a post-concert recap thanking his New Hampshire supporters for showing up for him, completely omitting the hours-long delay. As the tour moves forward toward its next scheduled milestones, anxious ticket holders elsewhere are left wondering if the rap icon will actually make it to the stage on time.
