The global pop sensation KATSEYE is officially kicking off their most ambitious month yet. The six-member group Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae announced that their highly anticipated new single, “Pinky Up,” will be released on April 9, 2026. The track arrives at a pivotal moment for the group, serving as the final anthem before they take the stage for their historic Coachella debut the following day.

The timing of the release is a calculated move to maximize momentum for their first-ever festival appearance. This KATSEYE Coachella 2026 performance details update confirms that the group is scheduled to perform on Friday, April 10, and Friday, April 17, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Fans, known as Eyekons, are already speculating that “Pinky Up” will serve as the high-energy opening number for their set, which is expected to feature a blend of their Billboard-charting hits like “Gnarly” and “Touch.”

“Pinky Up” follows a year of massive professional milestones for the group. After earning two nominations at the 2026 Grammy Awards including Best New Artist KATSEYE has spent the early part of this year touring across South America and making high-profile appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During their interview with Fallon, the members teased that their upcoming music would be “colorful,” “energetic,” and “fierce,” with “Pinky Up” reportedly leaning into a sophisticated, high-fashion pop sound.

The release also brings a sense of relief to the fandom following Manon Bannerman’s brief health-related hiatus in February. The group has confirmed they will be performing as a full six-member unit at Coachella, marking their reunion after several weeks of performing as a quintet. With a sold-out North American tour behind them and a spot on The Washington Post’s list of people shaping society in 2026, KATSEYE’s arrival in the desert is being hailed as the “must-see” debut of the festival season.
