Global pop group KATSEYE co-formed by HYBE Labels and Geffen Records has officially dropped their highly anticipated single, “Animal.” Arriving as the second lead track from their upcoming third EP WILD (scheduled for release on August 14), the new release showcases a daring, darker aesthetic and a mature musical evolution for the international quintet.
Moving away from traditional teen-pop tropes, “Animal” delivers an alternative pop anthem driven by heavy beats, strutting percussion, and an infectious chorus centered on raw human emotion and uninhibited confidence.

Focusing on self-expression rather than typical romantic themes, the track’s chorus “You move like an animal” symbolizes breaking free from societal expectations and tapping into primal energy.
Alongside the audio track, KATSEYE unveiled a cinematic music video steeped in spy-thriller aesthetics. The visuals pit tailored office suits against high-fashion red-and-black evening wear, highlighting members Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae as they step into a sleek, mysterious world.
The release of “Animal” sets the stage for a busy autumn for the group. Following the launch of their WILD EP in August, KATSEYE will kick off “The Wildworld Tour” on September 1 in Dublin, bringing their high-energy arena performances across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
