The college sports community is mourning an unimaginable loss following the tragic passing of University of Evansville women’s basketball player Jordan Scott.
The 19-year-old sophomore guard was involved in a fatal single-vehicle accident late Sunday night.
The Crash: According to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, Scott was driving along State Road 62 in Warrick County when her vehicle left the road on a sharp curve, striking a utility pole. Authorities noted she had just dropped off a friend and was navigating unfamiliar roads.
