A shocking tragedy has unfolded in Italy following the death of 45-year-old Lorena Isceri. Authorities are investigating the incident as a targeted murder-suicide involving her former partner, 36-year-old Federico Vella.
According to investigators, Vella ambushed Isceri in her home garage near Florence, forced her into the trunk of a vehicle, and drove toward the A1 motorway.
The Emergency Call: During the horrifying ordeal, Isceri managed to locate a phone left in the trunk and called emergency services to report that she was being abducted.
The Fatal Confrontation: Police tracked the vehicle to the Lora viaduct near Barberino del Mugello. Before officers could successfully intervene, Vella pulled Isceri from the car and threw her over the edge of the bridge before jumping to his death.
Prosecutors and the Florence police are conducting autopsies and reviewing highway camera footage to determine the exact sequence of events, including whether the victim succumbed to the fall or was harmed prior.
