Wealthy British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo (also known as Denisi or Ego) has passed away at age 43 following complications from a cosmetic procedure in Bangkok, Thailand.
An inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court revealed that Ubiribo underwent a non-surgical procedure involving 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injections at a Thai cosmetic clinic.
Medical Emergency: Shortly after the treatment, Ubiribo began experiencing severe chest pains and lost consciousness. He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors attempted CPR for over 100 minutes before declaring him deceased.
Cause of Death: A UK postmortem examination confirmed cellular material matching the injected hyaluronic acid in his lungs. Coroner Jean Harkin ruled the official cause of death as a pulmonary embolism directly caused by the cosmetic injection.
Known for his lavish lifestyle and social media presence, Ubiribo was buried in London in a gold coffin. High-profile figures, including Afrobeats star Davido and businessman Cubana Chief Priest, attended to pay their final respects.
