Prosecutors have officially filed a felony domestic violence charge against 24-year-old Zaire Wade, the eldest son of NBA legend Dwyane Wade, following a highly volatile, pre-dawn altercation that drew an immediate emergency law enforcement response.
The severe legal trouble stems from a dramatic incident at a residence in Burbank, California. Law enforcement officials rushed to the scene around 5:30 a.m. after receiving multiple panicked emergency calls regarding a woman screaming, intense yelling, and loud stomping coming from inside the home. Upon entering the property to conduct a welfare check, responding officers discovered Wade alongside a female victim who had sustained visible injuries, including multiple cuts and lacerations across her face and body.
