The ongoing feud between socialite Cubana Chief Priest and Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has taken a fresh twist, with Cubana Chief Priest throwing more jabs at the singer.
In a recent post, the celebrity barman shared a throwback video of Burna Boy at his 2018 birthday party, humorously highlighting the moment the singer was seen asking for cake. Cubana Chief Priest claimed he had paid Burna Boy ₦1 million at the time to perform as a backup artist at the event.
Taking the feud further, Cubana Chief Priest referred to Burna Boy as “Owerri Rick Ross,” a nickname he had previously used during their online clash. In his post, he wrote:
“Owerri Rick Ross! What a blessing!!!! See where dem dey rate me put. Me & Rosay #CpNosmall. 2018 na ₦1M naira I pay you to perform as backup artist for my birthday. I get pictures & videos where you dey perform for me. I go lie for you. We don dey chop this money before you meet us for queue. Be humble, small boy.”
The socialite also hinted at his longstanding wealth, suggesting he had been enjoying a luxurious lifestyle long before Burna Boy’s rise to global fame.
This latest jab follows an earlier exchange where Burna Boy shared a cryptic post believed to be aimed at Cubana Chief Priest. The two have been at loggerheads on social media, with Burna Boy previously using the “Owerri Rick Ross” tag to mock the barman.
The feud has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans of both personalities weighing in on the drama. It remains to be seen how Burna Boy will respond to this latest shade.
