Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards has officially been ordered by a judge to pay $14,000 per month in child support to his ex, Alexandria Descroches. The court order pertains to their 2-year-old son, Amir, born in 2023.

The Anthony Edwards child support Alexandria Descroches court ruling far exceeds the state’s baseline support amount of $3,200 after court documents revealed the NBA star earns nearly $4.8 million per month. Beyond the monthly payments, the judge ordered Edwards to secure a $2.6 million life insurance policy naming Descroches as the primary beneficiary and cover over $21,000 in her legal fees.

“The court noted Edwards’ monthly income allows for $31,000 on food, $70,000 on entertainment, and $30,000 on vacations.” Court Filing

The court proceedings revealed that Edwards admitted under oath to never meeting his son in person and noted he is not seeking parenting time. The decision establishes a major long-term financial obligation as the All-Star guard continues his high-earning NBA career.
