Six-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams is opening up about her daughter’s evolving perspective on the entertainment industry. While discussing her family dynamic during a recent media appearance, the 51-year-old actress shared that her 16-year-old daughter, Aviana Olea Le Gallo, has started showing an interest in “production as a whole”. However, Adams was quick to clarify that it remains far too early to know whether the teenager will ultimately choose to follow in her parents’ Hollywood footsteps.

Aviana whom Adams shares with her husband, artist and actor Darren Le Gallo has grown up around set lights and red carpets, but her parents have kept her personal life relatively private. While Aviana previously made a brief non-speaking cameo alongside her mother in Disney’s 2022 film Disenchanted during strict COVID production protocols, Adams noted that her daughter’s curiosity leans much more toward the technical mechanics of filmmaking rather than stepping in front of the camera.

“She’s really interested in production as a whole and how things get made,” Adams shared. “She pays attention to things like continuity, editing, and how scenes come together. But as for whether she’ll make a career out of it? She’s only 16, so it’s definitely too soon to know.”

Adams has consistently maintained a grounded approach when it comes to her daughter’s future ambitions. During past talk show appearances, the Enchanted star revealed that Aviana had previously shown “no interest” in traditional acting, preferring creative outlets like playing the bass guitar, drums, and visual arts.

Whether Aviana chooses to pursue a career behind the camera or stay entirely out of the limelight, Adams has made it clear that her role as a mother is simply to encourage her daughter’s passions. “If it feeds her soul and she loves it, I’m here for it,” Adams previously told reporters. “My main job is just supporting whatever makes her feel fulfilled.”
