Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have announced the highly anticipated reveal of The Blood of Dawnwalker, a dark fantasy action RPG, on January 13. The event will be live-streamed, offering fans a closer look at the debut title from Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by CD Projekt Red veterans behind The Witcher 3.
Rebel Wolves was established in 2022 by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, known for directing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Key team members include Bartlomiej Gawel (art director), Tamara Zawada (animation director), and Jakub Szamalek (narrative director). The studio has promised a narrative-driven experience reminiscent of CDPR’s acclaimed storytelling, powered by Unreal Engine 5.
Originally teased as Dawnwalker, the RPG is now officially titled The Blood of Dawnwalker. The teaser hints at a dark, medieval European-inspired world, possibly featuring werewolves and vampires. The tagline, “The world needs what it fears,” has sparked comparisons to The Witcher.
