Selena Gomez has expressed her pride and love for her boyfriend, record producer Benny Blanco, after he was featured in People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue.
In a snippet from her recent CBS Sunday Morning interview, Selena, 32, gushed over Benny’s recognition, exclaiming, “That’s my man!” She went on to share how grateful she is for his presence in her life.
“I’m beyond proud to know there’s someone who cares deeply about every tiny detail of who I am. He supports me, inspires me, motivates me, and brings me joy. More than anything, he’s my best friend. I’m really, really lucky,” the Only Murders in the Building star said.
The couple, who confirmed their relationship in December 2023, have found a balance between public and private life. Selena revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that sharing a bit of their relationship has helped her feel “safe.”
I guess this is the safest I’ve ever felt in a relationship, and I see a future with this person.There’s so much of my relationship people don’t see—that’s just mine.
Selena also shared that maintaining a private life is possible by surrounding herself with people outside the entertainment industry. “I do [have a private life], because I hang out with people who aren’t really in the business that much,” she said.
With her thriving career and newfound love, Selena seems to have found a balance that brings her both happiness and peace.
