Billie Eilish has made history by becoming the first artist to win Apple Music’s Artist of the Year award twice. Her latest accolade comes after an extraordinary year marked by the release of her third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, which topped Apple Music’s all-genre chart in 138 countries. Critics have praised the album for its vulnerability and boldness, showcasing a significant evolution in Eilish’s artistry.

In 2024, Eilish also won her second Academy Award and two GRAMMYs for What Was I Made For?, her heartfelt track for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film. Her unforgettable live performances, including her rendition of BIRDS OF A FEATHER at the Los Angeles Summer Games closing ceremony, further solidified her influence. This performance led to her biggest-ever day on Shazam.

She also collaborated with Charli XCX on the hit track Guess and headlined her sold-out HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour, which will extend its success into 2025. Rachel Newman of Apple Music commended Eilish’s fearless artistic journey, while Eilish herself expressed gratitude for Apple Music’s support throughout her career.

With seven nominations for the 67th GRAMMY Awards and a groundbreaking second win as Apple Music’s Artist of the Year, Eilish continues to redefine her legacy.
