Nollywood actress and media personality, Dorcas Shola Fapson, also known as Ms DSF, has cleared the air regarding her recent claims about colleague Toke Makinwa’s alleged secret marriage to longtime partner, Farouk Umar.
Over the weekend, reports surfaced suggesting that Makinwa and Umar had secretly tied the knot after photos from an event circulated online, with many assuming it was their wedding. Ms DSF contributed to the speculation by hinting on social media that the pair were getting married.
However, in a video shared on her social media page, Ms DSF clarified that her earlier comments were merely a joke. She explained that the event in question was not a marriage ceremony but rather a “thanksgiving” ahead of Toke Makinwa’s birthday.
In the video, she urged bloggers to slow down, saying:
Bloggers please, I’m just joking. They [Toke Makinwa and Farouk Umar] are not getting married. Toke is just doing thanksgiving for her birthday.
Ms DSF humorously captioned the video:
I play too much and bloggers eat sh*t too fast.
Toke Makinwa, who was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida, finalized her divorce in 2017 after tying the knot in 2014.
