Cardi B has pulled out of her upcoming Jamaica show at BZR WKND, and she wanted her fans to hear it from her directly. The rapper shared a personal video on social media apologizing for the cancellation, saying she had even planned to stay longer on the island to celebrate her birthday. She said she waited until closer to the date to see if anything would shift, and when it didn’t, she had to make the call.
The Cardi B Jamaica show cancellation came after her team issued a formal statement to Billboard: “Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026. Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and hopes to see them in the future.” The statement directed fans to event organizers for ticketing questions and said future performance information would come through her official channels.
Cardi’s video was more personal. She said she tried her best to make it happen but couldn’t get into the specifics due to contracts. She made one thing clear: “it wasn’t me.” The cancellation marks another schedule change for the rapper, who has been balancing her Little Miss Drama tour, new music, and motherhood. She has not announced a rescheduled Jamaica date. Fans flooded her comments with support, thanking her for addressing them directly.
