New details have emerged about Nana Akua Addo’s marriage to Harold Duodu Norman, revealing that the fashion icon filed for divorce months before the couple’s marital dispute became a major topic online. According to media personality Vim Lady, Nana Akua Addo filed the divorce petition through her lawyers on April 20, 2026, and is reportedly demanding GH¢10 million, the couple’s matrimonial home, a three-bedroom house at Nmai Dzorn, and three apartments around Galaxy International School.
She is also reportedly seeking a Toyota Prado, a 2022 G-Wagon, and 40% shares in companies owned by Norman. Vim Lady said the divorce is not the only legal matter involving the couple, claiming about four cases are currently before the court. “The things she is demanding are not a joke,” she said.
The development comes as the couple remains at the center of a legal dispute following the circulation of videos involving Nana Akua and members of her family. Her lawyers have asked the public and media to stop sharing the videos, saying the matter is “sub judice and in the hands of the appropriate authorities” and that the footage was leaked without her consent. Norman’s lawyers have disputed the narrative surrounding the footage, claiming the injury dates back to a 2021 incident where Nana Akua allegedly attempted to stab him, and that the matter is already under investigation by DOVVSU, with civil proceedings ongoing. The Ghana Police Service has said Norman is expected to appear before court after his discharge from hospital.
