FBI Director Kash Patel and his longtime partner, country music singer and political commentator Alexis Wilkins, have officially announced their engagement. The high-profile couple shared the exciting milestone on social media, with Wilkins posting a photo displaying her new diamond ring alongside the clever caption, “Went and got the law involved”. Patel later reposted the announcement, adding heart and ring emojis.
The couple’s romance began several years ago after they first crossed paths at a friend’s event in Nashville in 2022, officially starting their relationship in early 2023. Their relationship stepped further into the national spotlight following Patel’s appointment as FBI Director in early 2025, with Wilkins supporting him during his official swearing-in ceremony.
Despite navigating public scrutiny and media attention surrounding their respective careers, the couple has frequently shared their mutual patriotism and support for one another. Well-wishes and congratulatory messages have since poured in from supporters across political and entertainment circles as they embark on this next chapter.
