Gypsy Rose Blanchard Launches Petition for Stronger Cyberbullying Protections After Ken Urker’s Death

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has launched an online petition calling for stronger protections against cyberbullying following the death of Ken Urker. The petition supports Kenan’s Law, as Blanchard claims Urker faced relentless harassment across several social media platforms.

The Gypsy Rose Blanchard petition proposes several changes to how platforms handle harassment. The proposed law would allow users to report multiple posts, comments, and accounts together as part of a larger harassment campaign. It also calls for human moderators, better ways to appeal rejected reports, and requirements for social media companies to preserve evidence and provide more transparency.

Blanchard wrote that before Urker’s death, they repeatedly reported content they believed was harassment but were told there was “no violation.” “I cannot change what happened to Ken,” she wrote. As previously reported, Urker died at his Louisiana home last week. Authorities reportedly found a brown powdery substance and drug paraphernalia at the scene. The official cause of his death is still pending. Blanchard has not commented further on the petition or on Urker’s death.
