Max Alexander is already a legend in fashion, and he just turned 10. The young designer launched his first original fabric collection with Mood Fabrics on September 14, and during the launch event in New York’s Garment District, he officially claimed two more Guinness World Records.

The Max Alexander Guinness World Records haul now stands at four. He earned the title for youngest person to release a fabric or textile line at 10 years and 196 days old. He also set the record for the fastest time to thread an automatic sewing machine, finishing in just 10.16 seconds. The Mood × Max Alexander collection features 15 eco-conscious fabrics made with BCI Cotton, European Flax linen, EcoVero viscose, and recycled polyester faux fur.

Alexander began sewing at age four and became the youngest runway show designer at seven. He added another record in March 2026 as the youngest designer to show at Paris Fashion Week. His journey has been documented at the Tribeca Film Festival, and he has dressed celebrities including Sharon Stone. The Mood × Max Alexander collection is available online and at Mood Fabrics stores nationwide.
