AEW star PAC was found unresponsive inside a car outside a restaurant in Illinois shortly before he was pronounced dead at age 40. The wrestler, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, was discovered in a vehicle in the parking lot of a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines around 4 p.m. Sunday, according to dispatch audio obtained by the California Post.
First responders were reportedly told there was a person “slumped” inside a vehicle and could not initially confirm whether he was breathing. A witness said customers noticed PAC unconscious in the car and called 911, with some reportedly searching the restaurant for medical equipment before paramedics arrived. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said PAC was pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m.
