Pop superstar Miley Cyrus is keeping things candid as she prepares to tie the knot with fiancé Maxx Morando, revealing the one quirky fear that recently popped into her head.
During a recent conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, the Grammy-winning singer opened up about their six-year relationship and her sudden pre-wedding nerves.
The Six-Year Milestone: Cyrus shared that after six years together, she had never experienced “the ick” the sudden loss of attraction or feeling of cringe toward a partner.
Getting in Her Head: “All of a sudden I got in my head, I was like, ‘Oh my God, we’re about to get married. What if I get the ick?'” Cyrus recalled asking Morando how they would handle it.
His Grounded Response: According to Cyrus, Morando gave a pragmatic and humorous reality check: “You deal with it and you move on and you don’t be a baby. The ick is for when you’re in fifth grade.”
Despite the lighthearted worry, Cyrus emphasized how much she values their dynamic, noting that sharing a life with Morando brings a sense of relief where she doesn’t always have to be completely in charge.
