Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry is getting ready to trade his notoriously fast-paced production schedule for a major lifestyle change.
During an appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, the 57-year-old creator announced that he is planning to pack up and relocate to Puerto Rico alongside his 11-year-old son, Aman, at the start of 2027.
Slowing Down: When asked if he ever plans to “chill out” after decades of relentless work, Perry confirmed he is pulling back significantly, stating, “Moving to Puerto Rico at the top of the year, and I’m pulling back a whole lot.”
Prioritizing Family: Having recently celebrated his birthday, Perry explained that getting older inspired the massive shift. His primary goal is to slow down, enjoy quality time with his son, and “take it all in”.
