Pretty Ricky member Spectacular Smith is facing a sexual assault and battery lawsuit from an Arizona woman. According to court documents, Alexis Dieng filed the complaint in Maricopa County Superior Court in August, alleging Smith contacted her via Instagram in October 2025 under the pretext of asking for restaurant recommendations. She claims he cultivated her trust over hours of conversation before arranging an in-person meeting, then changed the location to a residence in Maricopa County where she arrived alone around 10:30 p.m. the following night.
Dieng alleges Smith initiated physical contact and engaged in sexual intercourse without her consent. She claims he placed his hands around her neck and applied pressure, restricting her ability to breathe, and recorded all or part of the encounter without her knowledge or permission. According to the lawsuit, Dieng reported the alleged assault to Phoenix Police and underwent a forensic examination the next day that documented tenderness, redness, and an indentation on her neck consistent with strangulation. Attorney Benjamin Taylor told TMZ, “We plan to seek justice for our client.”
Smith is a founding member of Pretty Ricky, the Miami-based R&B/hip-hop group behind hits like “Grind With Me” and “Your Body.” He later founded the social media company Adwizar. The lawsuit seeks general, special, and punitive damages in amounts to be determined at trial, and Dieng has demanded a jury trial. Representatives for Smith have not publicly responded to the allegations.
