Daisy De La Hoya is crediting Corey Feldman with saving her life. The Rock of Love alum told reporters Friday that her best friend of nearly 18 years drove to Las Vegas, collected her belongings, and took in her dog when her addiction spiraled out of control. The Daisy De La Hoya addiction recovery journey began with that rescue, as Feldman helped get her back to California, where she entered treatment.
She has been clean since February 29, 2024. But getting sober cost her almost everything. Daisy revealed she lost her relationship and her apartment, spent time living in shelters, and was assaulted during that period. She is now temporarily staying with a friend while attending school and applying for jobs. She recently applied at McDonald’s and Del Taco but was not hired. “I’m willing to take whatever work I can find,” she said, adding that she is grateful to be alive and drug-free while acknowledging recovery remains an ongoing journey.
Daisy, whose full name is Daisy De La Hoya, is the niece of boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya. She first rose to fame as a contestant on VH1’s Rock of Love 2 with Bret Michaels, later starring in the spinoff Daisy of Love. She is currently filming a reality show in Las Vegas, taking steps to rebuild a life that nearly slipped away. Feldman, her longtime friend and former The Two Coreys star, has remained by her side throughout.
