A dramatic scene unfolded outside Plymouth District Courthouse as jury deliberations in the murder trial of Lindsay Clancy reached a critical standstill. Massachusetts State Police arrested 56-year-old Dawn Light of Sutton, Massachusetts, charging her with intimidation of a witness, jurors, or persons furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings.
The arrest occurred around 3:40 p.m. as jurors were being dismissed for the day following their fourth day of deliberations.
The Incident: Reports indicate that Light was taken into custody after she was allegedly caught attempting to film or photograph members of the jury outside the courthouse. Jurors reportedly noticed the filming taking place and alerted security.
Pending Arraignment: Light was booked by Massachusetts State Police and is scheduled for a formal court arraignment.
The arrest adds a sensational twist to an already high-tension trial. Clancy, 36, is facing first-degree murder charges in the 2023 strangulation deaths of her three young children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
