Defense attorney Kevin Reddington filed a formal motion for a mistrial following testimony from prosecution witness and forensic psychologist Dr. Kirk Heilbrun. The defense argued that the witness improperly brought religious commentary into the courtroom, compromising the fairness of the trial.
