Actress Brenda Song is stepping into a new role today, swapping scripted scenes for the broadcast booth. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star will make her NFL color analyst debut during the Los Angeles Rams’ preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

Song will join the CBS Los Angeles broadcast team during the third quarter of the matchup at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. PT. She’ll be working alongside preseason regulars, including play-by-play announcer JB Long and analysts Jourdan Rodrigue and Rob Havenstein.

A California native, Song is a well-known Los Angeles sports fan and a passionate Rams supporter. The 38-year-old actress gained attention for her football knowledge after a viral rant following the Rams’ playoff exit, where she criticized the team’s defensive strategy. She later revealed on a podcast that her “goal is to be an assistant defensive coordinator”. The Rams’ official X account confirmed the news, simply reposting a report with “Can confirm”.
