Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took the stage at D23 to officially unveil the principal cast for the highly anticipated X-Men reboot. Directed by Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts), the film will officially introduce a new generation of mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox.
Following her appearance as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Sadie Sink leads the ensemble alongside Heartstopper star Kit Connor as Scott Summers (Cyclops). Christopher Abbott steps into the role of Professor Charles Xavier, while Samara Weaving plays Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette portrays Rogue, and Maya Boyd takes on Storm. Kevin Feige noted that this announcement covers only a portion of the main cast, with additional team members to be revealed later. The untitled X-Men film is officially scheduled to land in theaters on May 5, 2028.
