Paris Jackson is opening up about the first time she met her biological mother, Debbie Rowe. During a recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the 28-year-old singer and actress revealed she was 15 when she finally connected with Rowe.
The low-key encounter took place at the home of her grandmother, Katherine Jackson. Paris recalled walking into the living room and greeting Rowe with a simple “Hey, Mom.” Rowe replied, “Hi,” and after a brief chat, the two went out and spent the day together.
Jackson noted that she first started asking questions about her mother around age 10 or 11, but the answers she received, including her mother’s name, were enough to satisfy her curiosity at the time.
Reflecting on how their bond developed, Paris said she tries to approach relationships without expectations to allow for organic growth. She also noted that she and Rowe are similar, describing themselves as having “the fire” as a Sagittarius and an Aries, respectively.
