Grammy Award-winning South African pop star Tyla has removed her scheduled Lagos concert from the official itinerary of her upcoming A*POP World Tour.
The December 22 show, which was previously listed on official promotional materials, no longer appears on her website or tour schedule as of July 31.
The removal follows days of intense social media debate and public calls for a boycott from several Nigerian commentators and social media figures:

Mixed Reactions: While public figures like activist VeryDarkMan voiced strong opposition to the concert going ahead, others—including politician Omoyele Sowore—argued that artists should not be held personally responsible for political or social conflicts between nations.
