Sean “Diddy” Combs was placed in solitary confinement after getting into a physical altercation with a fellow inmate at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, sources confirm. The fight broke out after the other inmate “dissed” the 56-year-old disgraced music mogul, prompting Combs to take matters into his own hands.
The two men started pushing each other before exchanging punches, with sources saying that Diddy “held his own” during the brawl. Prison staff quickly intervened and separated both inmates, but Combs was immediately sent to “the hole” at Fort Dix as a result of the altercation.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on the incident, stating they do not discuss “disciplinary matters or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety, and security concerns.” It remains unclear if Combs is still in solitary confinement as of this morning.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution in July 2025. His current release date is set for February 2028, though good behavior credits could be impacted by this incident if prison officials determine he was in the wrong.
