The ongoing, turbulent divorce between The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and former NFL star Kroy Biermann has claimed another casualty within the family fold. Reality TV personality Ariana Biermann has revealed that she is no longer on speaking terms with her adoptive father, describing their fractured bond as a heartbreaking consequence of her parents’ bitter, years-long legal fallout.
The 24-year-old Next Gen NYC star, who was legally adopted by Kroy alongside her older sister Brielle in 2013, admitted that navigating her parents’ ongoing divorce and custody proceedings has made maintaining a relationship with her dad nearly impossible. Speaking candidly about their current status, Ariana shared that she has stopped trying to bridge the gap.
“I tried, you know, for a while,” Ariana explained. “I really wish him the best in healing during this time, but I have not really spoken to him unless it’s asking him if I can see my siblings or something like that.”
Ariana acknowledged that while she unintentionally drifted closer to her mother, the breakdown of her bond with Kroy has been deeply painful, calling the entire legal battle “just really sad”.
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2011 and shared their lives on Bravo’s Don’t Be Tardy, have been locked in a high-conflict divorce since 2023. The multi-year battle has featured high-profile disputes over joint finances, home foreclosures, and fierce custody challenges regarding their four minor children.
Ariana noted that while she previously prayed every night for her parents to reconcile, the court battles and required family testimonies pushed things past the point of repair. For now, Ariana is focusing on her independent life in New York, leaning on her mother and sister Brielle as a close-knit trio while her younger siblings navigate the custody proceedings back home.
