Halle Berry is turning 60 on August 14 and she’s making it clear that age is just a number, especially when it comes to her sex life. In a candid conversation on the July 15 episode of Making Space with Hoda Kotb, the Oscar-winning actress opened up about reclaiming her sexuality after perimenopause left her fearing she “could not have sex anymore”.
“I am juicy like a peach,” Berry declared. “My sex life is back batting 100”. The actress, who is engaged to musician Van Hunt, revealed that perimenopause brought painful intimacy and dryness that made her question whether she would ever enjoy sex again. She credited a vaginal dryness treatment called Juicy Like A Peach with giving her confidence back, saying it allows for “pain-free sex” so women can “be spontaneous again”.
Berry has been increasingly open about her relationship with Hunt, whom she met during the pandemic. She told Marie Claire in 2024 that for the first time ever, she “was madly in love before I had sex” with him. After three divorces, she realized that “chasing that thing is what always allowed me to make the wrong choices,” and when she prioritized herself, “the perfect person showed up”.
