Stefon Diggs Slams Male Accuser’s Assault Claims as “Completely False”

Stefon Diggs is vehemently denying allegations from a male accuser who claims the NFL star pulled out his penis and made sexual advances during a 2023 encounter. The Houston Texans wide receiver called Christopher Griffith’s claims “completely false and defamatory” in new court filings as their legal battle continues. Diggs previously sued Griffith for spreading alleged lies, and Griffith countersued, claiming Diggs drugged him and tried to force sexual contact at Diggs’ Maryland home in May 2023.

In the new filing, Diggs’ lawyers submitted deposition transcripts where Griffith was questioned about continuing contact with the NFL star after the alleged assault. When asked why he would want to “get back on track” with someone who allegedly tried to drug him, Griffith responded: “I don’t deem, I don’t think that the story had to end that way. I, at least, just wanted to let him know that, you know, who you are sexually is who you are sexually, and I respect that. I just ask that you respect who I am sexually and not overstep my boundaries”. Diggs’ team argues this response shows no indication of “severe emotional distress” and is asking the judge to dismiss that part of Griffith’s case.

Griffith’s lawsuit also claims that after he rejected Diggs’ advances, the NFL star had his brother and two other men attack him a week later to keep him silent. Diggs says the entire story is “entirely fabricated” and that Griffith has caused harm to his reputation. The legal battle continues as both sides await the court’s next decision.
