Maggie Grace quietly filed for divorce from her husband Brent Bushnell more than a year ago, according to legal documents obtained. The Lost actress filed a petition to dissolve the couple’s marriage in Washington state in May 2025, stating the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and revealing the pair began living separately in October 2024.
The documents show the couple worked out many details before heading to court, referencing both a premarital agreement and a property settlement signed in March 2025. Neither Grace nor Bushnell is seeking spousal support, and Grace is asking the court to restore her legal name to Margaret Grace Ives. The joint filing indicates the divorce is uncontested.
Grace and Bushnell married in May 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Ojai, California. They welcomed their first child, a son, in 2020. The couple met through mutual friends and became engaged in February 2017. Grace has previously spoken about how motherhood was the most profound and beautiful experience of her life.
The actress, best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy, has largely kept her personal life private. She is also recognized for performances in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and Fear the Walking Dead.
