The reality star broke her silence Friday with emotional Instagram Stories, claiming she spent the day “crying and fighting” for her two older children after they were “withheld” by her ex-husband, Tate Paul. She alleged he promised to extend their Fourth of July visit, then took it back, leaving the kids “crying, confused and asking why”.
The emotional outburst comes days after a Utah judge denied Tate’s request for a temporary restraining order against the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star. The commissioner ruled his allegations were based on “inadmissible hearsay, without any corroborating evidence,” noting Tate had left the children with Taylor during a trip to Iceland. Tate has since filed a motion for reconsideration, adding new exhibits to his case.
Taylor also posted shocking photos of injuries she claims she sustained during fights with Dakota Mortensen, her other ex and father of her youngest child, including severe bruising on her forehead, neck, and arms. The images stem from violent February altercations between the pair that left both bloodied and sparked mutual restraining orders. In her posts, Taylor alleges she was “lied to and manipulated” by Tate after confiding in him about her struggles with Dakota, claiming both men are now working together to “smear” her.
Sources close to Taylor said that the renewed onslaught is linked to her shelved season of The Bachelorette, which ABC pulled days before its premiere after old footage of her attacking Mortensen resurfaced. The source claims she’s being targeted to keep the show permanently off the air. With Tate now sharing the same legal team as Mortensen, Taylor faces a coordinated custody war from both sides as she fights to keep her family intact.
