Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender might be coming much sooner than expected. Paramount+ Brazil reportedly listed the animated movie for a July 25 release on the streaming platform, a significant shift from its original October 9 date. The post was quickly deleted, but not before fans caught the update.
The film had been scheduled for October 9, 2026, after multiple delays. Paramount previously moved it from a theatrical release to a Paramount+ exclusive. The movie is the first feature from Avatar Studios and follows Aang and his friends as adults.
The possible early release comes after the movie leaked online in full earlier this year. The July 25 date also coincides with San Diego Comic-Con, leading to speculation that Paramount planned a surprise drop during the event. Some fans noted the Brazilian listing labeled the title as a “series,” which could mean confusion with the original show.
Paramount has not officially confirmed the new date. The original October 9 release remains the official schedule for now. Until an official announcement arrives, the July 25 date remains a rumor, but one that has fans paying close attention.
