Taylor Swift is a veteran of the stage, so it’s fitting that she has commissioned a massive stage for her and Travis Kelce’s wedding event at Madison Square Garden. The stage is being secretly built at Rock Lititz in Lititz, Pennsylvania, a sprawling production facility where bands often rehearse before tours and where stages for various concerts are constructed.
Sources confirm the “massive stage” is being built in a warehouse “under lock and key with security guards patrolling the area.” The stage is not affiliated with any present or upcoming music tour, it’s exclusively for the Taylor Swift Travis Kelce wedding celebration.
Swift has a history with Rock Lititz. That’s where her massive video columns were constructed for the 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour, and Clair Global, a Rock Lititz subsidiary, worked on sound for The Eras Tour. The facility is no stranger to high-profile productions.
A band will be present, but some of Travis and Taylor’s guests will be invited to hop on stage and take the mic. It’s a fringe benefit of having really talented friends.
The Madison Square Garden event increasingly appears to be the wedding celebration, not the wedding itself. Guests reportedly believe the ceremony will happen before the July 3 MSG event, with a much smaller guest list, well under the 1,000-plus invited to the arena.
