The video showed Diggs and Cardi in a tense exchange outside a Maryland coffee shop. Cardi appeared fired up while Diggs stayed calm. The internet immediately speculated about trouble in paradise. But according to Diggs, everyone overreacted.
When asked about the viral spat, the free-agent wideout brushed it off completely. He described the moment as nothing serious, adding that women get emotional sometimes. Cardi later joked on social media that she was simply hungry, blaming the whole thing on being “hangry.”
But when pressed about whether he and Cardi are officially back together, Diggs didn’t give a straight answer. He called her a beautiful, talented mother and said he loves her to death. Then he pivoted: “You have to ask her.”
