The legal bills are stacking up once again for Kanye West. In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, digital development agency Ryanso, LLC dragged the rapper’s fashion house, Yeezy, into court. The firm alleges that West’s company completely vanished when it came time to settle a six-figure bill for extensive backend and e-commerce web design services.

The Yeezy sued Ryanso web design lawsuit 2026 filing marks yet another financial headache for the brand, arriving right on the heels of a separate California federal court ruling that ordered West to pay a hefty six-figure sum to independent producers over an uncleared Donda stadium sample.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Ryanso claims it entered into a formal, legally binding creative contract with Yeezy in January 2025. Under the terms of the agreement, the firm was hired to overhaul and build out specialized web design layouts, totaling a flat fee of $150,000.

The agency states that it fully completed all the requested digital development work by October 2025 and promptly issued a final invoice to Yeezy management. However, despite the site going live, the payment deadline came and went with absolute radio silence from the fashion house.

“The plaintiff fulfilled every operational metric outlined in the initial creative brief,” the filing notes. “The defendants have chosen to retain the commercial benefits of the infrastructure while intentionally withholding the contractually obligated payment.”

A Paper Trail of Warnings

Ryanso’s legal team makes it clear that they exhausted all amicable options before taking the battle to the courts. In March 2026, the firm sent a formal, written demand letter to Yeezy executives, explicitly stating that they would initiate aggressive litigation if the $150,000 balance wasn’t made whole.

After waiting two full months without a response or a wire transfer, the web developers finally pulled the trigger on the lawsuit. The complaint formally hits Yeezy with charges of:

• Breach of written contract

• Unjust enrichment

• Promissory estoppel

Aside from demanding the immediate release of the core $150,000 balance, Ryanso is asking the judge to force Yeezy to cover all accumulating interest, their mounting attorney fees, and associated courtroom expenses.

This isn’t Yeezy’s first time dealing with vendors claiming they were stiffed. Over the years, West’s corporate entities have faced a revolving door of lawsuits from fabric suppliers, production managers, tech platforms, and handymen alleging unpaid invoices.

With the brand still attempting to navigate its solo footprint following the collapse of its multi-billion-dollar Adidas partnership, this latest lawsuit adds to the mountain of litigation shadowing the controversial designer’s business empire. Representatives for Yeezy have yet to issue a public statement regarding the filing.
