Controversial online streamer Braden Peters, known to his millions of followers as Clavicular, was arrested Thursday night in Fort Lauderdale on a misdemeanor battery warrant. The 20-year-old looksmaxxing influencer was taken into custody just after 8:30 p.m. and booked into the Broward County Jail, where he remains on a $1,000 bond.

The arrest stems from a warrant issued by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. According to police reports, the warrant dates back to March 9 and is connected to an incident that occurred at an Airbnb near Kissimmee on February 2. Deputies say Peters allegedly instigated a physical altercation between two women so he could film the fight and post it to social media.

The fight involved Peters’ girlfriend, Violet Marie Lentz, and fellow influencer Jenny Popach. The altercation was captured on camera during a Kick livestream that garnered hundreds of thousands of views, showing the two women hitting and pulling each other’s hair before being separated. Warrants were issued for both Peters and Lentz. Lentz remains at large.

Peters’ arrest came on the same day the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission launched a separate investigation into the streamer. Hours before he was handcuffed, Peters posted video of himself on an airboat in the Florida Everglades firing multiple rounds from a handgun at a dead alligator floating in the water.

“Yeah, I think it’s dead,” Peters says in the clip after unloading his weapon. Florida law prohibits the killing, injuring, or capturing of alligators without authorization. While Peters’ publicist claims the alligator was already dead before the group encountered it, the FWC confirmed it is investigating the incident. Florida Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins publicly stated he looked forward to seeing charges pressed.

This is not the first time the looksmaxxing influencer has faced legal consequences. In February, Peters was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona, and charged with two felonies, possession of a forged instrument and possession of a dangerous drug—after using a fake ID to enter a nightclub. Those charges were later declined for prosecution.

Peters rose to fame promoting “looksmaxxing,” a controversial online subculture focused on maximizing physical appearance through extreme measures. His content includes promoting “bone smashing” hitting oneself in the face with a hammer to allegedly reshape bone structure and using crystal methamphetamine to suppress appetite. He runs a paid mentorship program called The Clavicular System, charging followers $49 per month for access to his methods.

The streamer has also drawn criticism for associating with far-right figures, including white nationalist Nick Fuentes, and for using racial and antisemitic slurs in his content.

His Kick livestream, which was part of a 30-day marathon, cut out abruptly Thursday night. A friend later announced the marathon was ending early.
