Chris Brown is no stranger to using
past relationships as inspiration for his music, but it looks like Chris
Brown fans are not happy with the singer’s decision to reportedly
dedicate a new track from his Royalty album to ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
On Monday, a reported official tracklist for both the standard and deluxe editions of Chris Brown’s highly anticipated Royalty
album appeared online, teasing two previously announced features while
also including singles “Back To Sleep,” “Fine By Me,” “Zero,” and
“Liquor.”
- “Back To Sleep”

- “Wrist” (Feat. Solo Lucci)
- “Make Love”
- “Liquor”
- “Zero”
- “Anyway”
- “Picture Me Rollin’”
- “Who’s Gonna (NOBODY)”
- “Discover”
- “Little Bit”
- “Proof”
- “No Filter”
- “Little More (Royalty)”
Deluxe Bonus Tracks

- “U Did It” (Feat. Future)
In addition to the singer’s newest singles, Chris Brown is also including four bonus songs for the deluxe version of Royalty, one of which includes a feature from Future for their collaborative track “U Did It,” Hot New Hip Hop reports.
While Chris Brown fans are eager for Royalty’s release on
December 18, it appears some fans aren’t too happy, with rumors
suggesting that one of Brown’s deluxe bonus tracks, “KAE,” is dedicated
to model Karrueche Tran.
Chris Brown has not been shy about referencing his past relationship
with Karrueche Train in his music, most recently releasing a new song
titled “The Breakup” on his surprise-release mixtape Before the Party on Black Friday.

In addition, Chris Brown took to Instagram last week to tease several of his impending tracks from Royalty, one of which appears to be aimed at ex-girlfriend Karrueche.

In one now-deleted clip, Chris Brown can be seen mouthing along to
lyrics, “I remember when we used to be in love / Now you’re in
Hollywood, tryna get your name up / Now when I look at you, all I see is
a stranger,” prompting Karrueche Tran to respond to Brown’s apparent
diss with her own video asking, “To be petty… or to not be petty? That
is the question.”
While it’s unclear if “KAE” will come in the form of a diss track or
will rather be another heartfelt ballad similar to “The Breakup,” Chris
Brown’s fans took to Twitter to weigh in on the alleged
Karrueche-inspired track.
One fan writes, “‘KAE’ awwwee I swear he LOVES her!!! I want to see #chrae back!” while another adds, “I can see the tracklist of @chrisbrown #Royalty album, I wanna hear the ‘KAE’ looks amazing.”
However, some fans appear to be less-than-impressed with Chris Brown’s “KAE” bonus track, with one fan explaining, “Chris Brown has a song called ‘KAE’ on his new album. Hun. Just let go.”
The news comes just days after Chris Brown briefly opened up about his former romance with Karrueche Tran in an interview with Hot 97’s Nessa.
When asked if Karrueche Tran hurt his feelings when she claimed that
she can’t get modeling or acting gigs because of her association with
Brown, Chris Brown explained, “I’m going to be honest with you, if it
did hinder anybody’s job, anything that I have done with anybody, I make
my mistakes and I am totally in acceptance of any wrongs that I have
done.”
Chris Brown continued, “But I just can only wish and hope for the
best for that person and everybody else whoever I’ve messed up their
lives or jobs or hindered…whatever the case may be, it’s just more
blessings and success to them.”
Chris Brown’s new album, Royalty, is currently available for pre-order and will be available beginning on December 18.
What do you think of the rumors suggesting that Chris Brown has a new song dedicated to Karrueche Tran on Royalty?
