The RIAA confirmed that Travis Scott and Drake’s 2018 hit “Sicko Mode” has been certified 16x platinum, making it the second-highest certified rap song in history with over 16 million units sold in the United States.

The ASTROWORLD track now ties with Drake’s “God’s Plan” at 16x platinum, sitting just behind Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar’s “Goosebumps,” which holds the top spot at 17x platinum. “Sicko Mode” has maintained remarkable streaming momentum since its 2018 release, becoming one of hip-hop’s most enduring commercial successes.

The multi-part Drake and Scott collaboration originally peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and featured three distinct beat switches that became iconic in modern rap production. The certified achievement demonstrates the track’s lasting appeal across streaming platforms and radio airplay over seven years.

“Sicko Mode’s” 16x platinum certification cements both artists’ dominance in the RIAA’s all-time records. With Drake holding multiple highly-certified rap songs including “God’s Plan,” “One Dance,” and “Life is Good,” and Travis Scott now having two songs in the top tier, both rappers continue setting unprecedented commercial benchmarks.
