Prince Harry Made Secret Royal Visit to Duke of Kent
Prince Harry reportedly made a secret visit to the Duke of Kent during his recent UK trip. The private meeting, which took place at Kensington Palace, was to “personally pay his respects and offer condolences” following the passing of the Duke’s wife, the Duchess of Kent, on September 4th. This visit was separate from his much-publicized reunion with his father, King Charles III.
The Duke of Sussex, who missed the Duchess of Kent’s funeral, had a busy four-day schedule that also included meetings with his charities and a trip to Ukraine for the Invictus Games. A source close to the Duke stated that he “loved catching up” with family, friends, and colleagues during his stay.
